the last thread seems as a call for a new moderator.
i would volunteer to do it, if no one objects.
i do moderate two other tribes and am here at least once a day.
i would not tolerate flaming and stupid negativity.
let me know what the concensus is, please.
peace, patrick

if the current mod is busy, then sure, a new mod should step in. like i said in another thread, though, i think there must be a bit of love-tempered caution when we start throwing around intolerance in any form. the common ideals i've seen in all "hippie" communities are..tolerance, love, awareness, and inclusiveness.. this is not saying that all these ideals are always met but sought. it's easy to say "i don't like what that person is doing, i don't want them to be part of my world." that's what the entire dominant culture has done to all counter-cultures for all time; it's easy not to see that we're doing exactly what they're doing, especially when we do it in the name of protecting those who do center themselves around these ideals, but doing so is acting in adversity to these principles. it weakens our grasp on them. thank you, patrick, for volunteering; i just hope that care is taken in moderating flaming and negativity.

cool. don't worry, i'm very tolerant, but i don't like bullies, verbal, physical, or mental.
i don't think that, as has been suggested, that this should be a 'private' or 'closed' tribe, but some judgement calls need to be made, if after warnings, ignorant shit continues.
